Medicare Claims & Concessional Patient Bulkbilling
- All patients must produce a valid Medicare or Veteran Affairs Card to every consultation in order to be bulkbilled
- Anyone holding a valid Pension, Concession or Healthcare Card must also present this along with their Medicare Card to every visit
- Work Cover & TAC patients are welcome, but will be required to pay privately for their visits
- Some services such as Pre-Employment Medicals are not rebate-able through Medicare and therefore must be paid privately on the day of consultation. If unsure, check with reception for details.
Private Fees
- Private fees are only charged to those who do not present with a valid Medicare, Veteran's, BUPA O/S or OSHC O/S Card
- Private Fees are $50 for standard consultation on Weekdays or $66 on Weekends
- Work Cover & TAC rates are $58 for standard consultations on Weekdays
- Extended consultations and surgical procedures may incur a higher fee
Emergencies & After Hours

- An After Hours on call doctor is available after 6:00 pm each night on (03) 5241 3581.
- An upfront fee of $250 applies as this service is not bulkbilled. Additional services (suturing etc) are charged at the practice fee rate. A private account, reflecting the out of pocket cost, will be issued to Medicare on behalf of the patient for claiming purposes.
Wait Times
- Patients are able to nominate specific doctors, however some may incur longer wait times and it is advisable to see the next available doctor
- We strive to make waiting times as short as possible and all patients will be prioritized by nursing staff based on the urgency of their condition
Test Results
- It is the responsibility of each patient to follow up on all ordered test results
- In accordance with AGPAL guidelines, results will not be given over the phone
- If you would like to know or discuss your results, you are welcome to see any doctor on duty
